Sea Elf will be rigged as a Junk rigged schooner. The masts are aluminum flagpoles. The mainmast is 7" x 38ft and the foremast is 6" x 34ft. The masts are stepped completely through the boat...6ft for the main and 4ft for the fore. Because I didn't have sufficient 'bury' forward where the heal of the foremast lives, I had to "raise" the height of the deck by adding raised partners. I had them built out of stainless steel. Norm Turner did the fabrication. The mainmast only needed plywood partners.
